Into the Light

 watercolor

Found some different watercolor paper in my cabinet of papers, mats and paintings.  For the new year I thought I would start using some of my old stuff up. All artists have a bunch of supplies that they bought and haven't used or are lightly used. Time to use them up.  I have been painting a lot and that makes me feel good.

We had a bit of snow so we went out taking photos today.  Unfortunately, there wasn't any sun so these new photos will have a different feel to them....or I can use my artistic license and add lots of color....watch and see what I do with them.

Have a great week everyone.  Stay well.  Stay strong.

Lake Michigan's Winter Blanket

With the holidays I got way behind posting my new paintings.  You can see them on Face Book and Insatagram.

My dear hubby bought me a new computer a few months ago and now I can not find anything.  I am pulling out my hair.  So I may not be posting all those photos since I can not find them.  I will probably start with 2021.

Keep stay well, and warm.

South Side Living - Chicago

Here's a typical back view of housing on the south side of Chicago in Stoney Island.  The bleakness of this view drew me into painting it.

Stay warm, healthy and strong.

Catching the Setting Sun

Happy New Year's Everyone.  I got way behind on posting my new paintings so I may still add them or I may just start with the New Year....watch for them.

This is a view I caught recently which is at the end of my block.  Love to watch the sun set here.

Here's wishing everyone health and happiness in 2021...we'll take one day at a time.
