I have my students working on fall and winter little paintings that are this size (4.5" x 7.5") and they frame up very nicely in a 9" x 12" frame.  For some of my students, this is the first time that they are framing something.  These are a great size for gift giving...

Fall workshop

Doing a fall mini workshop at the senior center in Griffith, Indiana on Monday, Oct. 21.  The time is from 1 till 4.  The fee is only $35 and is an all inclusive...you just come and I will have all of the supplies for you. Gala Paintings lll

There are going to be 20 little paintings that are small....3" x 4" to 5" x 7" or there abouts. The chairman decided that the paintings were too much of a donation with all the other stuff that I am doing and giving, that she wanted me to keep the originals.  There will be colored copies of these in silver frames that will be part of the table decorations for the Chesterton Art Center's Nov. 1 gala in Chesterton, Indiana.  So these originals will be for sale for $20 matted, plus postage.  They would make nice little gifts with the holidays just around the corner.

The Chesterton Art Center in Chesterton, Indiana is having their 5th Annual Fundraising Gala on Nov. 1, 2013.  I am on the committee.  Right now I am working on the table decorations.  I am painting 20 little watercolors that will be framed with one on each table.  Someone at the table will go home with the little painting.

Watching the Heads Go By

In the city of Chicago you can find these headless sculptures.  There are 106 of them on the south end of Grant Park.  They are 9 feet tall.  The name of these headless pieces is called Agora. They are kinda strange to see but neat at the same time.  enjoy!!
