Spent the day in Chicago yesterday.  All these years that I have been going up there and yesterday was the first time I took the big bus tour.  It was really interesting.  I learned a lot and took tons of photos.

We parked at Navy Pier and hopped on a bus near there.  I love being at the pier.  It is one of my favorite places. We ate at Harry Carey's...great tavern burgers.  I even bought me a CUBS visor hat.  Don't tell anyone since I am a SOX fan, but this matched my outfit better.

This Lily I found in my friend's garden.  His wife passed away a few years back and he has kept up her "secret Garden."  This lily is named after her.

I did this painting for the show that I am having next year....It sold right after I painted it.  So my client also wanted me to frame it... Julie used to work at this mill at Amoco.  So I am happy to see that it went to a good home.

I had a lot of pretty flowers in my gardens this year.  I wanted to go and palnt plein air in my gardens today, but it got a bit chilly, damp, rainy and no sun....Catching up on paper work...
