Pansies

watercolor
14" x 21"
floral

I bought this large planter of pansies so spring would hurry up and get here.  I took photos of it...did some demos for my students using it and then I plopped it into a planter on my porch.  Then it was almost time to put it to sleep...lol.  But one of my students said if I put it into the sun, it would come back to life and continue blooming.  I figured what do I have to lose.  Well she was right.  It looks lovely again.  enjoy.

Sunflowers

watercolor
10" x 14"
Floral

Trying to think of warmer days where you will be finding me in my gardens....  Still cleaning out all the leaves from them.  The rain and cooler weather is making me learn patience.  But in a few days I will begin planting....no hurry.  Once I start...then you are committed to the caring of them.

Chicago Blues

Cityscape

This past weekend this painting was accepted into the Illinois Watercolor Society juried Show in Dixon, Illinois.  This was the third time I have been accepted into this national show so at the opening this past Saturday, I was awarded my signature status.  Special thanks to the Judge, William Hook and to the whole committee for putting on such an awesome exhibit.
