This is a scene of one of our local farms that also sells it's, flowers and veggies when in season. They also have a petting zoo here. I love the green houses and a few years ago they built these new ones, I can't wait for spring to come (especially since I live near Chicago and it is extremely cold here right now). I get so many of my plants here. I do not plant the veggies, I plant the flowers....way too many, but they do not mind....Love this place. Been going to it for years.

I love the colors of winter sunsets and the stark contrasts..It was 1 degree today..I don't like so much. lol. I do paint in my studio.

we had a bit of a snow storm this weekend. Nothing terrible but very good for getting out and taking more photos of snow scenes....and that is what we did today after the snow was all shoveled.. It was lovely being out in the country. Stay warm.

It's been nice and warm the last two days for winter.. It was 52 degrees today, I am sure snow is just around the corner. I will be painting flowers soon...I hope.

Just a simple round barn here in Indiana. These small paintings are matted to 11" x 14" and were part of a small works challenge. I completed 26 of them. I am almost done posting them. Have some other paintings that I think you will like in my Chicago and my Industry series. Stay tuned

Well, it is January 3 and we made it through the holidays. Now to start thinking about taking down all the decorations. Here in Indiana we do not have any of that white stuff on the ground....that is ok.
I started a basic 5-week drawing class for my students. This is usually the time that I am off so that I can paint.but they begged and I know this will help them in their painting. So we started yesterday and it went really well.
Happy New Year....DRAW on new adventures and experience in 2019.
