watercolor 14 x 21
Here is a painting that I recently completed and as I painted it I took photos of each step. This way you will see my process. I hope you enjoy it. I think each photo speaks for itself so I did not add any text for each photo. If you have any questions, fire away. I tried to keep the photos looking the same from frame to frame...but I am a painter not a photographer.
Enjoy and Happy Painting!!
The sky is so beautifully painted! Enjoyed the step by step progress of the painting :)
ReplyDeleteHi Ramesh. I promised a step-by-step so here it is :) I liked the process of doing that mass of trees. You can't see it well, but it has teals and blues and some warm colors.
ReplyDeleteTim had his eye surgery today and all went well. Take care my friend.
Thank you athy for sharing the making off of this wonderful watercolour. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteSorry, I meant Kathy!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kathy, for letting us in behind the scenes. This is a beautiful winter scene and very educational. I don’t think it needs further explanations - one can guess the wet and dry stages.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kathy. I so much enjoy seeing a painting develop.
ReplyDeleteHow generous of you to provided your painting techniques, step by step..you're the best teacher. Miss going to class so much. Painting is beautiful as is all your work. Got your list of classes. They look great.. but can't attend on Saturdays..mom-sitting. Maybe can do a day class this summer, during the week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Alberto..you can call me athy if you wish :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Blaga...glad you understood each step.
Studio at the farm... I, too, like to see them develop. I think it is so facinating to see what happens when colors hit the paper.
Pat, I was hoping that was you. I miss seeing you and the other Pat and MK. We need to all get together to have dinner. Too bad about Saturdays. I do have a Friday workshop once a month here at the senior center. Keep thinking about painting. :)
