Got the Bread and Milk

watercolor
14" x 21"
cityscape

When we were young and there was a storm coming ,my mom would always make sure that we had enough bread and milk.  After having that big storm in Indiana a few days ago, I decided to do this painting of the north side of Chicago.  The gal in the photo is just coming home ....with the bread and milk (and some chocolate).  Stay warm.

Kathy,
You are painting beautifully while you are staying warm I hope. Keep warm and healthy.

Hi Prabel...it was unbelievably cold at the beginning of the week (-18 with a wind chill of -40). We were not supposed to be on the streets and everything was cold. Today it was 42 and it has been raining. That is melting the snow. I was hoping to go out this weekend to shoot some snow photos...it will all be gone by then. I loved your latest piece. You are doing a great job with the plein air painting.
