Here's a step by step of the painting that I painted today.

I spent 4 hours in the gardens cleaning out the leaves and 

getting them prepped for spring planting that I will begin

around May 15. Don't want to plant too early.

Continuing in the series... I framed these little ones up and they always look finished with the mat and frame on them.  I was in Park Full of Art this past weekend and I won 2nd place in watercolor. yeah...sold the geranium painting and some others too.  It was a great weekend.

Ok, enough sunflowers....but still I'm in my garden....it is time to paint the geraniums.  Unfortunately, my Martha Washington geraniums are not doing well at all.  The others are doing great.  Note to sell.....No Marthas next year.

This started out as a challenge for the Daily Paintworks online group that I belong to.  Then I just kept painting away all night/am.  Had so much fun playing with colors and shapes.

These are another flower that I have planted in my gardens.  They are growing on the lattice work of my gazebo.  Last Saturday I went and painted all of the lattice of the gazebo and the deck.  Now these flowers really stand out.  Enjoy and have a nice weekend.
