Little Calumet River
watercolor
14" x 21"
Landscape
With the last snow fall that we had, I went out and took a few photos. This is a local river and I was able to catch it at sunset. Ok...I added the sunset. lol. Tomorrow is spring and it is sooooooooo cold here in Indiana. The wind chill makes it even colder. Last year at this time it was 80 degrees. This is the coldest that we have had it in 20 years. go figure. Stay warm.

Frozen Memories III
watercolor 14" x 21"
landscape
Continuing on with my reflective series, this finds me painting the Little Calumet River. It is pretty in the winter but caused a lot of damage a few years ago when we had massive flooding from it during some summer storms. It runs all through the neighboring towns.
Stay warm....
