watercolor
I think I might have posted this back when I painted it in January, but yesterday I won a first award at Chesterton's 59th Annual Exhibit sponsored by the Woman's Club.
It is always fun winning an award especially when there is cash that comes with it :) That just motivates us to paint more and to get the supplies that we need to do so.
There were three judges for the show and one was the director/curator of the Brauer Museum here in Indiana :)
Kathy is Happy :)

Meera...thank you so much and I love how you worded that. :)
Hi Kathy, I saw your watercolors yesterday, but I couldn't send any comment. I like very much your lat paintings, specially the geraniums. You has painted them much better than I do. I never painted ones. MPDR.
It was worth it seeing again your watercolors with so yummy colors. Wonderful hidrangea.I hope to see your blog as soon as I go back to Madrid. So long!
Wow. Surprise...Julian is back, almost...Vacation is now over. It is about time you get back to Madrid and get to your neglected paints. I was thinking of you today. I am teaching a class this Wed. with fruits and veggies (not with them...about them). MPDR I keep thinking about your great plums. We will see what we paint...My plums might look like prunes...MPDR Glad you had a safe trip. Hope you had a good time.
Kathy: Congratulations on the award. It is a beautiful work and so happy the esteemed judges appreciated it.
