He's Watching You
watercolor
21" x 21"
figurative
I did this painting a few years back of dear ol' Santa Dad. The original hangs in my kitchen but I have prints, cards and prints on canvas of this jolly ol' guy.
Merry Christmas to all....and to all a good night.

Counting down to Christmas. We had a big family Christmas party here last night. So much fun and lots of good food. The little kids were a blast. We always play Jingo...which is Christmas Bingo. We also do arts and crafts with the kids. Christmas Merry to all of you!!

Jam NIght at Paul Henry's
watercolor
14" x 21"
figurative
There is a gallery called "Paul Henry's" in downtown Hammond, Indiana. Dave Mueller is the owner. In the painting, he is the one on the left standing in the doorway. This gallery is an old hardware store that belonged to his dad. He kept most of it the same and now sells art work from it.
Every Thursday night they have a jam night. It starts with a pot luck and then people come to sing, play music and recite poetry. I did this painting of one of the jam nights. I had it made into gicle' prints (lg. 14" x 21", small and cards). Tonight...I will be at the jam night signing my prints. Come on by and eat a little, sing a lot, and get your signed print. I promise you I will not be singing. It will make a great Christmas gift for yourself or for a friend.

Snow woman - wc on canvas
watercolor on canvas
12" x 12"
I had a little snowman workshop in the studio yesterday. I did this little snow gal and everyone else did a snow guy. lol. It is always refreshing to see when a student gets excited to see something they completed. They were all going to go home and hang them up right away. The good part was since it was on the canvas and they finished the edges, they did not have to frame them. No one was going to give their painting away as a gift....they did not want to part with them.
