Got the Bread and Milk

watercolor
14" x 21"
cityscape

When we were young and there was a storm coming ,my mom would always make sure that we had enough bread and milk.  After having that big storm in Indiana a few days ago, I decided to do this painting of the north side of Chicago.  The gal in the photo is just coming home ....with the bread and milk (and some chocolate).  Stay warm.
