Farming has come a long way.  Technology has taken over.  But, in rural areas we can still find the old farmstead with the red barn and wooden silos.  Each has their own unique beauty.

 We were hit with some snow storms this year.  Nothing terrible.  I live in the midwest and this is what we are used to getting.  It does look pretty and I love the blanket of snow over everything. There are about 2 feet of snow on my picnic table right now.  The tulips I planted  in the fall will love all of this snow when it melts.

On one of our trips out to take photos in the country, I ran across this old barn.  I love the character of it.  So I had to paint it.  I tried a watercolor board for this one.

Been up to Chicago a few times, too.  Got some new photos of the city that I can't wait to paint.
