I received this lovely flower from my friend Rita as a Christmas gift.  It was awesome watching it grow.  It was like growing right before my eyes...Such a beautiful plant/flower.

Today I went up to Chicago to take photos for future paintings.  It was an awesome day.  Great lighting...working on my new Chicago series.  So blest that Chicago is so close.  I love this city.
