Yellow Umbrellas-Oakbrook Mall...suburb of Chicago

watercolor 14 x 21

A while back I did a 5 x 7 color sketch of this area. Now I was ready for the big one...1/2 sheet.
This is at a mall outside of Chicago, Illinois. It's a beautiful night tonight to be sitting out there. Would you like a glass of wine?

Hello Kathy,

I saw your last painting through the blog of my father (Julián Andrade) and I had take a look of all your paintings. Your paintings are beautiful. I like them more than my father´s. Surely he will get angry when he read this post;-)

Hi Kathy, you have another fan of your paintings, my daugther, who makes jewelry. She said to me that your paintings was fabolous. I think she had a mistake and was thinking about of mine. MPDR. I would prefer the umbrellas were red instead of yellow and my wine from Ribera Sacra is very good,MPDR, but I'll try to get there and I'll drink with Kathy, one such good watercolorist.

Hi Julian...You have very smart daughters. They know good art when they see it :) I new you would like red umbrellas, so that is why I made them yellow MPDR. Yes, I did a 5 x 7 color comp and now I was ready for the big one. I didn't think you would fit under the little umbrellas. PLease come and we can have drinks there and I will even buy you lunch or dinner.

I was on your site the other night and after I left you a comment, my computer messed up again. Tim had to work on it and fix it. Maybe my computer doesn't like spain? or YOU? MPDR
