Nature's Kaleidoscope

watercolor 14 x 21

Yes, it is fall in Indiana so here are some of our leaves. This painting was done with a lot of negative painting. I love to do this technique...I can get lost in it. Unfortunately, you are not seeing all of the neat colors or the lost and found edges in this photo. Maybe I will shoot it again when I have time...Time? what is that?
Enjoy!!

Thanks jyothisethu. I do appreciate that you take the time to see my work and to leave a comment. What is your favorite subject matter.
Just finished up a painting of the inside of a barn. Will post it later this week.
Take care!!

Dear Kathy, this is so beautiful! Really loved the negative space painting and the lost and found edges! I really wish to use this technique in my paintings...Thanks for inspiring :)

Hi Ramesh...glad you like the painting. I love to do these negative paintings. You never know what is going to happen and you get lost in them. Keep giving it a try...I do not know if it would work that well with acrylics unless you use it as a wc, you may want to use your watercolors.
Take it easel...
