watercolor 7 x 11

Here is another little painting that I did for my students last week. I used Neutral Tint, Venetian Red and Raw Sienna. Try this combination and see what happens.

Neutral Tint is the name of a watercolor that is a gray.It is not as blue as paynes gray or Indigo. Try it, you will like it. lol.

Three colors combination is so fresh and clean and sparkling! Thanks for introducing 'neutral tint' -who /which brand the manufacturers that color?

Hi Meera, I would think that all of the manufacturers make this color. The brand of paints that I use are Holbein. I used Winsor Newton for about 25 years and then was introduced to Holbein and have been using those for about 8 years. The colors are brighter and more concentrated and they don't get muddy as fast. That is why you see my color are so bright on my paintings. Love them. Have a great Thanksgiving if it is a holiday that you celebrate :)

I love this painting, Kathy. The smooth of the snow, the combination of colour..., thank you to share it. It`s a good advance of Christmas.
