This was a painting from a photo I took from my first trip to Chicago during the Covid lock down. I have been going into the city since 1969 when I started art school at the @American Academy of Art. But this time was so different....there were only a hand full of people and just a few cars. Kinda eerie. It was a perfect opportunity to take photos. Watch for more Chicago paintings to come. I have been up there 3 times and I have new paintings to represent these trips...I am just behind on posting them....secret....I would rather be painting...than posting.
