Hydrangea demo

watercolor
14" x 21"

This was a demo painting that I did for my class today.  I set up a still life of silk flowers.  LOL.  It took about an hour to paint it.  Last week I showed the class how to stretch 140# watercolor paper and today I painted on that sheet.  I usually paint on 300#.

Hi Kathy. Again, I envy your hydrangeas. It's a pity, but I couldn't attend at your demo, so I have to settle for seeing your results, but some day I'll try to paint one. Next year.

Thanks Julian...today I went for the first time to look at flowers. I usually just walk through to see what they may have that is new. I did buy me a new Hydrangea. It is called. Lime...something. I read some one talk about it on FB. You know I hate to paint with green. lol.

Maybe you wiil be able to come to my opening of a show that I am having in the fall ...MPDR.
