Pumpkins and Mums---step-by-step.

watercolor 14" x 21"
still life

Thought I would do my pumpkin challenge for the daily paintworks. Since it is almost Halloween, I thought tonight was a good night to do this. I hope you enjoy my step by step process. I didn't think I needed to explain what I did. They say a picture paints a thousand words. Enjoy.

A lovely, loose painting, Kathy! I did some pumpkins recently and have felt I should have added a background, your works so well. Warm and Autumnal! :)

Hello Ingrid. Thanks for your comments and welcome to my blog. It is always hard to decide to paint a background or not to paint a background. And then if you decide to...do you paint it first or last?? We just have to keep experimenting and have fun doing so. Take it easel,
Kathy :)
