Foxglove

watercolor 28 x 8

Today's garden special is the Foxglove. It looks like little bells waiting to chime in the wind. These also grow in my front garden. I think they want to start popping their heads through the ground soon. But here in Indiana, it is not recommended to plant anything until after May 15. My leaves are keeping them warm tonight.
Come back tomorrow to see what flower I will paint.

I love a lot those flowers. We tell them "digitales",in Spain. I had them in my garden and I hope to have them again this year and also I'd like to paint as you do it. I think is a good idea begining in the spring now with some beautiful flowers as you has painted.

Hi Julian, I am in the studio getting ready to start a painting that I will make into a DVD so my students can see how I paint it. When I get it done, I will post the painting.
